The McLaren Senna LM is for those who always wanted to drive the Senna GTR on the streets.
The McLaren LM Senna is a special trim offered as a tribute to the McLaren F1 LM. The LM stands for Le Mans, the original LM was a road legal version of the F1 GTR specifically created to honor the five iconic McLaren F1 GTRs that took part in the 1995 24 Hours of Le Mans. The McLaren LM Senna on the other hand is a road legal version of the Senna GTR, in fact McLaren will create 3 additional special trims based on the Senna GTR, they will be known as the Senna Can-AM.
The McLaren LM Senna is the ultimate distillation of the company’s ‘form follows function’ design mantra.
To observe the detailed work that has gone into every aerodynamic element of the McLaren LM Senna is mesmerising. To experience it all working in unison is truly incredible. The resulting 800kg of downforce in Race mode at significantly less than maximum speed (155mph or 250km/h) is phenomenal, and the McLaren LM Senna creates, maintains and controls its aerodynamic performance to ensure the driver has the confidence to explore the limits such downforce unlocks.
